Tristan Hubbard M.S. CCC-SLP

Education

Tristan has a Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State and Master’s degree from Radford University. Tristan is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA) and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Approach

Tristan values strength-based, neurodiversity affirming services that focus on connection. She has experience working with children and adults with a variety of diagnoses, but has special interests in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), autism, gestalt language processing, and early intervention.

Fun facts

Tristan grew up in Stokes County, NC, where both her grandparents and great grandparents were her neighbors. She is a neurodivergent SLP, with a love for crafting and mystery novels. When she isn’t in session, you can find her relaxing with her two cats and sipping an iced coffee all year round.
